Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Sciences (RCMAS), established in 2005, is a self-financing higher education institution affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The College is part of Rajagiri Vidyapeetham and is owned and managed by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous religious congregation for men in India, founded in 1831 by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a visionary educationist and social reformer.
RCMAS is accredited with an ‘A’ Grade in the First Cycle of NAAC, ISO 9001:2015 certified for its UG and PG programmes, and has participated in NIRF and KIRF rankings, securing a KIRF Rank Band of 100–150. The College offers Four-Year Undergraduate Honours Programmes and a range of Postgraduate Programmes, with BBA and BCA programmes approved by AICTE. From its modest beginnings in 2005 with two undergraduate programmes housed in a traditional Ettukettu, RCMAS has grown into a multidisciplinary institution offering eleven undergraduate and three postgraduate programmes by 2026. The College offers a diverse range of undergraduate programmes in Commerce, Management, Computer Science, Animation and Graphic Design, English, Social Work, and Psychology. At the postgraduate level, programmes include M.Com in Finance and Taxation, M.A. in Graphic Design, and M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence.
